Russell Wall is currently in his 12th year of service to the Ira ISD School Board and currently serves as the Board President.
He works as an oilfield consultant. He and his wife JJ have been married 18 years and are proud parents to four current Ira Bulldogs: Ramsi Lou (senior), Sawyer Casey (6th grade), Timber Blaize (1st grade), and Dutton Laine (Pre-K). Russell made the decision to run for school board to do his part to ensure that Ira students get a quality education and are well-rounded and prepared for life after school.
When asked what he finds most important in his leadership role, Russell states it is “to be fiscally responsible with the voters’ money while still providing a top tier education. A graduate of Snyder High School, Russell says his favorite thing about being a Bulldog is “the way this community gathers around and helps when someone is in need. That’s why my family will continue to call Ira home, and in the center of that community is our school.”
